presented to Erin Jancauskas, Melbourne Private UniveristyErin Jancauskas has provided outstanding leadership and vision which has significantly enriched engineering education in Australiasia through his transformative leadership of AAEE and the Faculty of Engineering and Physical Systems at CQU. Erin's leadership and vision saw the development of a world-class engineering centre in Gladstone in an award-winning partnership with industry, as well as substantial innovation in the Faculty's education programs. Erin has been an outstanding ambassador for the profession of engineering education. As President of AAEE, Erin significantly expanded the membership and financial base of AAEE, built productive relationships with IEAust and ACED and formed lasting partnerships with industry. Erin has demonstrated and promoted excellence through restructuring and expanding the Australasian Engineering Education Awards in partnership with industry sponsors of the Awards. The Waves of Change conference in Gladstone, celebrating the 10th AAEE Conference, set new benchmarks for excellence. Erin has provided sustained, inspirational and exceptional leadership across a broad range of engineering education activities. It is a pleasure to award him The Institution of Engineers, Australia Medal for Excellence in Engineering Education. |
Commendation Brian Stone, University of WABrian Stone has made an outstanding contribution to engineering education through his enthusiastic teaching, persistent promotion of innovation and improvement in engineering education at UWA, and his leadership of award winning developments in computer-assisted learning in engineering. Brian has been an outstanding ambassador for the profession through his contributions to AAEE, CAUT and CUSTD and his internationally recognised seminars and publications. It is a pleasure to highly commend Brian for his contribution to excellence in engineering education. |
