McGraw-Hill New Engineering Educator Award

Introduced in 1998, the McGraw-Hill New Engineering Educator Award is given to an individual who is relatively new to engineering education but has demonstrated that they have outstanding ability and potential. While nominees must have been involved in engineering education for no more than 10 years, they may be at various stages of their lives (perhaps having come to engineering education following a career break or a time in industry). The recipient will have a record of achievement that demonstrates their commitment, enthusiasm, creativity, technical proficiency, and skill in the art of engineering education. While the award is recognition of achievement to date, its primary purpose is to assist and encourage the recipient to achieve their full potential.

The award is sponsored by McGraw-Hill Australia and consists of a $5000 honorarium and a framed certificate.
